Location: Delhi (Travel Required)
Description: The Sales Manager – Government Business will own and drive revenue from government customers across central, state, and local departments. This role is hands-on and execution-heavy. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing the tendering process end-to-end, closing orders, and building long-term institutional relationships.
About the Role
- Drive sales of CLUIX products to central and state government departments, PSUs, and urban local bodies
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of B2G opportunities
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Track relevant tenders, EoIs, RFPs, and RFQs across portals
- Lead the end-to-end tendering process including documentation, coordination, and submission
- Work closely with internal teams on technical and commercial compliance
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and program heads in government departments
- Coordinate with implementation partners, consultants, and system integrators where required
- Represent CLUIX in meetings, reviews, and government forums
- Provide on-ground insights on procurement trends, budgets, and upcoming programs
- Support pilot-to-scale conversions and repeat orders
- Identify new geographies and departments for expansion
Skill(s) required
- Strong understanding of government procurement and tender processes
- Proven track record of closing government orders
- Experience dealing with departments such as PHED, Jal Nigam, Municipal Corporations, State Missions, PSUs, or similar bodies is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government sales or B2G product sales.
